In order to serve global market needs best and to optimally utilize the vast potential of digitalization, the WEISS Group is implementing SAP S/4HANA as its new ERP system worldwide. As the first location, WEISS GmbH in Buchen, Germany will go live with SAP S/4HANA on January 01, 2024. In order to inform our customers, partners and suppliers in good time about the changeover to SAP S/4HANA, we have listed all the relevant information for you below.

INFORMATION FOR OUR SUPPLIERS.

Goods acceptance stop as of December 08, 2023
Delivery of the ordered goods must be made by December 08, 2023 at the latest. In the period from December 11, 2023 to January 07, 2024 our incoming area will be completely closed. Deliveries will be refused during this period. Please review the WEISS order backlog and verify that all deliveries placed with an arrival date until December 8, 2023, will be on time. Kindly confirm this information to your WEISS purchaser by November 30, 2023.

Resumption of goods acceptance as of January 08, 2024
With the system changeover to SAP S/4HANA, goods acceptance will be possible again from January 08, 2024. The delivery address and the goods acceptance process will remain unchanged for you.

Changes after system implementation
After the changeover, the following data relevant for you will change:
–  Your supplier number
–  WEISS article number
–  Forms (purchase order, purchase order change, request for quotation, AB reminder, delivery reminder) and their document numbers 

Already placed orders
Further details on consequences for already placed orders with delivery dates in the year 2024 will follow in a separate letter in December.


We will inform you separately in a timely manner about further details which are relevant for you as a customer in the context of the system conversion to SAP S/4HANA system. INFORMATION FOR OUR CUSTOMERS.

Service requests and service orders during the transition period
Despite the system changeover, our service team is available to you at any time for service inquiries and service orders in the usual quality. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by delays in individual cases.

Order entries stopped in our ERP system from December 20, 2023, until January 8, 2024
Orders sent to us between December 20, 2023, and January 5, 2024, will be only entered into our new ERP system and into production planning from January 8, 2024. We will send you the confirmation of these orders in calendar week 3 of 2024. Our colleagues from internal sales are available for you in this period of time.

Deliveries until December 15, 2023, and again from January 8, 2024
In order to ensure reliable delivery, you will receive your ordered goods by December 15, 2023, and again from January 8, 2024. If deliveries fall within the specified period of the delivery stop, our colleagues will contact you to reschedule.


We will inform you separately in a timely manner about any details relevant to you as a customer regarding the system conversion to SAP S/4HANA system. If you have any questions, please get in touch with your contact person within the WEISS GmbH sales team.
