Assembly of microswitches

Task

For an automatic assembly machine for microswitches, the pneumatic workpiece feed is to be replaced by an economical solution with cycle times of 1.5 seconds.

Solution

Three WEISS rotary indexing tables connected in series and eleven HP140 and HP70 Pick&Place modules arranged around them achieve a positioning accuracy of 0.02 millimeters - with a cycle time of 1.5 seconds
