WEISS Nederland becomes WEISS Benelux

As of January 1, 2024, WEISS will be expanding its network. WEISS Nederland B.V. will become WEISS Benelux B.V. in order to serve Belgium and Luxembourg directly in the future.

The portfolio of automation specialist WEISS is growing steadily. In addition to rotary indexing tables, solutions from the German family-owned company also include pick-and-place solutions, axis combinations and delta robots. The range will be expanded to include more control systems and digital solutions. Therefore, WEISS will serve customers from Belgium and Luxembourg directly from its subsidiary in the Netherlands.

The current distribution through a retailer will end with the name change to WEISS Benelux: "Direct contact with our customers is becoming more important because we are transitioning from a pure component manufacturer into a solution provider," explains Marcel Klieverik, who will lead WEISS Benelux. Klieverik has been the head of WEISS Nederland since 2009. The passionate engineer continues, "The wide range of applications in different industries requires deep knowledge and a high degree of consulting expertise, which cannot be ensured optimally by a retail partner. Therefore, we are looking forward to being in direct contact with our customers in the future. We would like to thank ATB for the past 30 years and remain on friendly terms with them."
