First Innovative Hackathon by WEISS Group

The first hackathon of the WEISS Technology Foundation took place at the end of September 2021, delivering innovative engineering solutions within 72 hours. During these three days, the young talents worked on the task in their interdisciplinary teams. After successful tinkering and development, the participants presented their results in the final pitch to the jury and the interested audience of experts.

In summary...
...the event was definitely worthwhile, especially as the non-profit WEISS Technology Foundation made mechanical engineering and digitalisation accessible and tangible for talented young people. The hackathon brought together engineers and budding engineers as well as creatives and technology enthusiasts. The fact that everyone benefited from each other reinforces the intention to repeat such an event in the future in order to jointly develop new solutions in the automation industry.
