Weiss GmbH added one more important "Milestone" to its 50 + years of history & over a decade old journey of expanding global footprint for being close to its markets & customers by announcing the opening of the "4th Lead Factory" of Weiss worldwide in Pune, India

Weiss Automation Solutions India, the 100% owned Indian subsidiary moved to a newly set up "Weiss Campus" in Chakan, Pune; that will house under one roof, Weiss APAC regional HQ, India Sales Office, The Engineering Knowledge Centre, Weiss Solution Factory, Global Sourcing & Global Technical Development Centre.

The new Campus is set up strategically in an Industrial area having proximity to where major customers & industrial as well as auto industries are located. We have invested in "The Engineering Knowledge Centre- EKC" with in the Campus, which besides offering engineering consultancy, consultative selling, has a state-of-the-art Product Application demo units in a permanent display area that is attached to the Customer training centre. 

Besides this, the "Solution Factory" which will be engaged in Standard as well as Customized Value-added Product assembly & other HQ regional localization initiatives in future; will house, India Sourcing & Logistic Centre, Warehouse, Service Centre, too. Besides Pune, the Weiss India has recently added "Regional sales offices" in Delhi NCR, Ahmedabad, Chennai and Bengaluru to be close to & serve the customers in the region better.

During his virtual address to the invited customers, industry leader, Press & media at the inaugural events, Mr Uwe Weiss said "As a part of the growth plan & strategy for Asia Pacific & India Market, Weiss Group has been beefing up its operations & resources in the region. A first step in that direction, we are adding customer-facing & technical resources, competence & infrastructure. The New Campus in Chakan Industrial Area in Pune is a big step in this direction". 

Weiss in India in coming years will strive to be recognized as the most preferred automation solutions partner & wants to position itself accordingly, i.e. as a "Knowledge Engineering Partner"; offering consultative selling, Engineering Consultancy, Customized value-added & optimized solution to address the right customers' value. Going forward, the focus will be to make local customers competitive & valued by their end-users customers with right & relevant industrial automation solutions.

This new Campus will be able to sustain and grow the trust that Weiss Products & solutions have been able to get from Indian customers' instant recognition of the Quality & Reliability in the past couple of years since it entered in India market. In coming years, our global knowledge of the automation industry and understanding of customers' needs across Automotive & General Industry applications worldwide, which combines five different Weiss technology portfolios; will be valued & beneficial to our customers here in India & Asia Pacific too.
