Trunnions are individual positioning systems or drum systems, mostly based on heavy duty indexing rings CR / TH tables and rotary indexing tables. They take over highly precise and at the same time dynamic positioning tasks of mostly heavy loads within tool changing systems. The systems are designed according to customer specifications and range from simple drum systems, in which rotation is simply in one axis, to complex rotation systems such as H-turners for simultaneous machining, loading/unloading and buffering.
